Doddsism #136

Doddsism #136 | To be a star you can't be afraid to shine.

I always imagine that the lights on a Christmas tree are stars. When they are off they don't look like much but once you turn them on they illuminate everything around them. Some of us are just like the lights that haven't been turned on yet. It is time for us to shine and show the world how beautiful our light can be.

Doddsism #135

Doddsism #135 | Just because they call you something doesn't mean you are that something.

Have you ever received a letter that you didn't want and instead of keeping it you marked it return to sender? Words can be the same way. People can say all sorts of negative things about you but just because they say it does not mean you have to accept it. Just like that letter, you can send it back.

Doddsism #133

Doddsism #133 | Procrastination can be the destroyer of dreams.

Have you ever waken up from a good dream and later when you try to recall it you have a hard time remembering anything from it. If only you had written it down when you first woke up. Just like dreams that you have while you sleep, the dreams that you have when you are awake can fade away if you don't act on them in time.
