Doddsism #136

Doddsism #136 | To be a star you can't be afraid to shine.

I always imagine that the lights on a Christmas tree are stars. When they are off they don't look like much but once you turn them on they illuminate everything around them. Some of us are just like the lights that haven't been turned on yet. It is time for us to shine and show the world how beautiful our light can be.

Some people are stars but hide their beauty because they are afraid to shine. The thing about being a star is that when you shine you bring attention to yourself. Sometimes that attention is good, but unfortunately sometimes their are people who are negative because they are jealous of your shine. Today I want to encourage every dormant star to turn on your light and shine. Show the world how special you are. There are always going to be people who are jealous and are going to try and tarnish your shine but don't let that stop you. When you are afraid to shine because of the negative people, you are giving up your control to them. It is time to take your control back and to let the naysayers be negative all by themselves. Don't let a few jealous people stop you from sharing your gift with the world. Just like the Christmas lights you have the power to illuminate the things around you. In a sometimes ugly world we can use our collective light to make our cities, states and countries beautiful again. Let the world see your light. You're special, now it is time to show everyone around you how special you are.
