What is a Doddsism
A Doddsism is a statement based on wisdom gained and lessons learned that are
designed to inspire, motivate, and encourage. I feel that to truly be inspired you must look at inspiring things, listen to inspiring music, and read
inspirational words. My hope for anyone who reads my articles is that
they come away feeling inspired and motivated. I intend for each Doddsism to
encourage the reader that they can be more than they are right now. That no
matter how bad things are it will always get better. If at least one person who
reads a Doddsism comes away inspired, motivated or encouraged then
that Doddsism has served its purpose.
Meaning behind Logo
Chess pieces have always been elegant to me. Many chess sets
have unique designs that display these ancient pieces in new and different
ways. For me the pawn represents the journey to success. It is considered to be
the weakest piece on the board and the most expendable. It is also the only piece that there are more
than two represented on a board at a
given time. Even with all that, the pawn is the only piece that can become
something greater than it is. It is not always likely for it to happen,
but it is possible for a pawn to make it to the other side and become something
greater. This means that no matter where you start out, or how great the
competition, you always have a chance to become something greater in the end.
