Doddsism #134

Doddsism #134 | Kings carry themselves as kings and not as pawns.

If you saw a king walking down the street in normal clothes you might not think to yourself that he is a king, but chances are you will be able to tell that there is something different about him. That is why it is important that you carry yourself the way you want to be perceived.

If you have spent any significant time around a child or young adult then chances are you have heard them say "I am an adult." When you are an adult you do not have to tell people because they will be able to tell by the way you carry yourself. The lesson we try to teach them is the same lesson that some of us still need to follow. You can not expect people to treat you like a professional if you keep acting unprofessionally. There are certain attributes that positions and social statuses carry with them. People can tell a lot about you by the way that you carry yourself. If you keep getting mistaken for something you don't want to be then, maybe you are not carrying yourself in the manner of the status you want to be. You have to behave like the position you are or are trying to hold. If you want people to see you differently you have to behave in a manner that is different from the way you carried yourself before. It's okay to be a pawn, but if you want to become a king you have to walk, talk and dress like a king. A king doesn't carry himself like a pawn, but if a pawn wants to become a king then it has to behave the way a king does. It is not enough to simply give yourself a new title, but you must carry yourself in a way that is fitting of your title. Step into your destiny and keep your actions from holding back your progress. You say you're a king/queen, now act like it.
